And now, sleep.

[Backing track: Insensible, by Juana Molina. If you happen to speak French, just ignore whatever the lyrics are saying (something sad, according to Flisabert).]

No one likes it

Don't worry, Maesy, everyone hates using Microsoft Office.

Another Glamour Shot pose. Love this skull & crossbones + stars sleeper.

God Logs

Ingredients

* 1 pkg bacon (regular thickness)
* 1.5 lbs ground beef
* 1 block sharp cheddar
* salt & pepper
* 6-pack of brat or hot dog buns

Cut six 1/4" x 1/4" sticks lengthwise from the block of cheddar. Roll six quarter-pound balls of seasoned ground beef into cylinders. Fold beef around cheese stick, covering both ends, pinching closed at seam, and rolling/massaging back into shape.

Starting from one end, wrap a slice of bacon around the beef, using a second slice to complete the length, and pinning at each end with a toothpick into the cheese center.

Grill the crap out of them. They're done when the cheese begins to escape. Place in buns. Eat.

Heart Hedonist's Variation

* Substitute 1/2" Velveeta sticks for cheddar and reduce the pitch of the bacon wrapping so that 4 slices are needed end to end. You'll need a second package of bacon.

Bon appetit!

May 4: 1 Month Old

Here she is at 0 and 1 month old. Less red, bigger head. We still don't see any resemblances, but we still haven't done the side-by-side comparison with our own baby pictures yet.

Bath Time

Maesy's first real bath (only sponge baths up to now) and she liked it! Getting out of the warm bath, not so much...
